Arnöya island is located 3 hour drive north from Tromso, which is the closest airport. The island has an area of 276 square kilometers, and it has mountains reaching up to 1168meters!

The island has got couple of hundred people living all year around, and it has some small industry on fishery.

There are four small villages in the island, Lauksletta, Arnöyhamn, Akkarvik and Årviksand.

Arnöya can be accessed by ferry from the coast. The ferry is cheap, takes cars, trailers and boats. The ferry takes about 35-40 minutes to Arnöya.
